Alin was born in May 6, 1991 in Constanta, Romania and is the only son of Ion an Olga Andries.

He grew up in Constanta and although his passion is basketball, the first sport he practiced in childhood was football.

At the age of 12, he began to play basketball in the schoolyard after school hours. Pleasure became a real passion and he joined the junior club of Farul Constanta.  After two years he started to play to another club in Constanta and started to participate in the U16 age categories competitions.

At the age of 19 started to play in First League of Romania with CSU Brașov.

Alin graduated Decebal High School Constanta and the University of Physical Education and Sports Timisoara.

Who is Dragos Alin Andries, the man?
